Nancy Anita Hausler

Nancy Anita Hausler, 71, of Normal, passed away at 11:10 p.m., Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at Good Samaritan Home in Pontiac surrounded by family.

Her funeral will be at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 18 at Epiphany Catholic Church, Normal with Rev. Joseph Baker officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Tuesday at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington.

Memorials may be directed to OSF Hospice or Peoria Players Theatre.

Nancy was born October 13, 1947 in Pontiac, the daughter of Raymond Francis and Helena Frances Septoski Persic. She married Terrance Lee Hausler on April 9, 1983 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Minonk.

She is survived by her husband Terry of Normal, four children, Barbara Hausler of Bloomington, James Hausler of Pekin, Steven Hausler of Peoria and Laura Hausler of Pekin; two sisters, Maryann Carlson of Naperville and Susan (Charles) Spudville of Hammond, IN; and a sister-in-law, Sherri Persic of Minonk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Christopher Persic and a brother, Raymond Persic, Jr.

Nancy enjoyed many things, including art, music and cooking. She took great pride in being a mother and wife. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends, especially during the Christmas season. As a devout Catholic, she also enjoyed attending church with her family and praying for her loved ones.
