Myrna J. Kubiak, 88 of Chatsworth, IL died Tuesday September 3, 2024 at Goldwater Care in Pontiac. Her graveside service will be held on Saturday September 7, 2024 at 11:00am at Chatsworth Cemetery, Chatsworth, IL with Pastor Brian King officiating. There will be no visitation. Memorials in Myrna’s name may be made to Livingston County Humane Society., Chatsworth Fire Department or SELCAS. Calvert & Martin Funeral Home, Chatsworth is handling the arrangements. Myrna was born on January 25, 1936 in Chicago, IL a daughter of Willam and Valerie (Stafford) Lunsford. She married Tom Murphy. She later married Ike Kubiak and he preceded her in death in 1976. Surviving are five children; Nikki Travis of Plainfield, IL, Mark Murphy of Chatsworth, IL, Maureen Stork of Forrest, IL, Nick Kubiak of Chatsworth, IL and Tim Kubiak of Kellart Lake- Cissna Park, IL. numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister: Linda Leahy of Chatsworth, IL. Myrna was preceded in death by three children: Laura Kolasa, Tommy Murphy and Karyn Wright. Myrna was educated in Chicago schools and was a CNA.
