Monica A. Harweger

Monica A. Harweger, 51, went to be with her family in heaven on Dec. 22, 2025.

She was born Oct. 4, 1974, to Ron and Patricia Harweger of Bloomington. She was a Cubs and Bears fan. She loved her dogs Oscar and Daisy. They were her world. Later her grand dog Rhea made her way into her heart. On Dec. 31, 1997, she married Randy True.

Together they had three children, Mikayla True (McKenzie Matthews) of Bloomington and Brendan True of Heyworth and Nicholas True who was waiting at heaven’s gates to see his mommy. Randy had two children from his first marriage, Serena True and Justin True, both of Heyworth, making her a mom of 5.

Later Monica became a grandma of four, Dakota Law, Sierra Law of Bloomington and Dalton Deavers and Seth Deavers of Heyworth.

Monica was preceded in death by one brother Jerry Harweger, ex-husband Randy True, two of her dogs Tabitha and Tank.

Her children and grandchildren want to send out a special thank you to Epiphany Catholic Church of Normal for her Last Rite’s service. Cremation rites have been accorded. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home of Heyworth, is assisting the family with arrangements. Services will be held at a later date.

None of this means goodbye, all we are saying is “We will see you on the other side!” God knows we will see you on the other side. Monica you are loved and will be missed.
