Michael T. Blevins, 65, of Bloomington, formerly of Lexington, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024 in Bloomington. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Friday, October 11, 2024, at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in Lexington. Family services are private. Inurnment will be in Lexington Township Cemetery, Lexington. Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice. Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Michael was born in Norfolk, Virginia on October 8, 1958, a son to Raymond and Patricia Brandon Blevins. Surviving is his mother, Patricia Blevins, of Lexington; his daughters, Jamie Blevins, of LeRoy, Jackie (Adam) Moritz, of Lexington; grandchildren, Jack and James Breese, Wrigley and Emma Heilman, and Callie, Myla, and Ava Moritz; brothers, Dave (Debbie) Blevins, Dan (Danita Punke) Blevins, Paul (Lejo) Blevins; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father; a brother, Mark Blevins; and a sister Linda Fike. Michael was a car enthusiast and enjoyed working on his cars and watching car shows. The joy of his life was spending time with his grandchildren and they were always able to put a big smile on his face and brighten his day.
