Michael Hannah

Michael Gene (Mike) Hannah, of rural Virden died at his home on Saturday May 9, 2026.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Traci Hannah. Daughters Stefanie (Noah) Gilliom, Julia Hannah, Audrey Hannah, and Rebekah Hannah. Grandchildren Graham, Parker Gene, and Baby Girl Gilliom, who will really miss their Baba. Mother, Kathy Hannah. Sister Sara (Craig) Hudson; nieces Hannah, Sally, Josie, and Kate Hudson. In-laws, Ed and Betty Birchler. Brother-in-law Greg (Kathy) Birchler. Nieces Kaci Hickman and Sarah Birchler. Nephews Kodi Hicks and Alex Birchler. Great-nieces Tayah and Josie Hickman. Great nephew Oliver Hickman. Many beloved family members and friends.

Mike is preceded in death by his infant daughter Faith Hannah. Father Earl Gene Hannah. Grandparents Karol and Irene Hannah; Ralph and Kate Finney.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday May 13, 2026 at 10am at Lakeside Christian Church, 225 Toronto Road, Springfield, IL with personal friend and pastor Jon Morrissette officiating. Service will be live streamed on You Tube at Lakeside Christian Church-Springfield, Il. Airsman Calvert of Virden is attending to the family.
