Michael A. Bogner Obituary (1944

Henry: Michael Antone Bogner, 80, of Henry, passed away Friday October 4, 2024, 9:31 PM at OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria. Visitation will be Tuesday October 8, 2024, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Henry. Mass of Chrisitan Burial will be Wednesday 11:00 AM at St. Mary’s Church, Henry. Fr. Michael Pica will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Henry, with full military rites by the Henry American Legion. Memorials may be directed to St. Mary’s Church, or to Lacon Rehab & Nursing, Activities Department. Mike was born January 13, 1944, in Spring Valley, IL to Bernard and Beatrice (Hoffman) Bogner. He married Donna Kimberly. She preceded him in death. He later married Sandra Page on August 17, 1974, in Chillicothe, IL. She preceded him in death on March 31, 2019. Surviving is his daughter, Hollie (Scott) Altpeter, of New Windsor, his grandson, Andrew Altpeter, of Davenport, Iowa, his great grandchildren, Rowan and Aurora Altpeter, his brother, Arthur Bogner and sister, Louise (Will) Young, both or Henry, nephews, Bryan (Laura) Young, Brian Page, Nieces, Julie (Brian) Burwell, and Stacy (Steve) Crisp, and several great nieces and nephews. Mike had served his country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church and the Henry Knights of Columbus.
