Matthew T. Chanady

Matthew T. Chanady, 52, of Fairbury, formerly of Pontiac, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2019, at 7:27 a.m. at his home surrounded by family.
His service will be Friday, October 25, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Fairbury with Pastor Daryl Evans and Pastor Brian King officiating. Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 24, 2019, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac.
Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements.
Matthew was born May 2, 1967, in Toledo, OH, to Thomas J. Chanady and Constance A. (Pauken) Williams. Constance survives in Oak Harbor, OH. He married Tina M. Maier. She survives in Fairbury, IL.
Also surviving are his three children, Matthew T. Chanady, Jr. of Pontiac, IL, Mariah J. Chanady of Fairbury, IL, and Mason S. Chanady of Fairbury, IL; and one brother, Michael T. Chanady of Toledo, OH.
He was preceded in death by his father and twin brothers in infancy.
Matthew was a graduate of Whitmer High School in Toledo, OH, Class of 1985. He attended University of Toledo. He was a forklift driver for Exact Packaging in Pontiac. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fairbury, IL.
