Mary "Kathy" Niepagen Obituary (1963

Mary "Kathy" Niepagen, 54 of Bloomington passed away at 4:50 AM Monday November 6, 2017 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington. There will be a funeral service for Kathy on Friday November 10, 2017 at 1 PM at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home in Bloomington. Pastor Tim_________ will officiate. There will be a visitation from 11-1 PM Friday at the Memorial Home. She was born October 4, 1963 in Bloomington to Jack and Tootie Deerwester Ditchen. She married Albert Niepagen in Bloomington. He preceded her in death as well as her father, one son Michael Horn and one brother Randy Ditchen. She is survived by her partner of fifteen years Todd Barns of Bloomington, two children Josh Horn of Bloomington and Leslie (Brian) Coombs of Holder and five grandchildren, Silas Horn, Colin Coombs, Mirabella Horn, Cooper Coombs and Aurora Horn. Kathy worked at Windjammer in Bloomington for nearly 30 years and has been the owner since 2001. She loved the outdoors, especially gardening and flowering. She was a very giving person who loved and included anyone she knew as part of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
