Mary Cay was born January 24, 1951, to Norman Keith and Marilyn Jean (Turley) Lammers. She married Donald Francis Hahn on December 29, 1973. He preceded her in death.

Mary Cay is survived by sons Mark (Kristin) and Greg (John Romalis). She was the very special Abuela (grandmother) to Nolan and Marin. Mary Cay's brothers and sisters are: David Lammers, Jim (Monica) Lammers, Tom (Yumi) Lammers, CJ Lammers (Sarah Rauber), Nancy Simms, and numerous in laws, nieces, and nephews.

Predeceasing Mary Cay were her husband Don, parents, sister Barbara Jean, brother-in-law Rick Hahn, niece Emily Morgan, great-niece Alyssa Hahn, and nephew Zack Lammers.

Mary Cay graduated from Illinois State University in 1973 and finished her M.S. in 1974. She was a school counselor for 35 years and loved her career. Her last position was at Ridgeview Jr. - Sr. High in Colfax. Mary Cay also served as a church pianist/organist for 54 years and accompanied several school musicals. She enjoyed music immensely.

Mary Cay was proud of her family (especially her sons) and loved getting together with both families, especially at the holidays, family weddings, and special family gatherings. She and Don's passion was traveling, so they spent much of their retirement seeing new places and were able to visit all fifty states. North Venice, Florida, was their winter home and they felt honored to have many friends and family there as well.
