Marvin Wayne Mosier Jr. age 65 of Bloomington, IL, passed away at 8:24 AM, Monday, October 16, 2023, at his residence. His funeral service will be 1:00 pm Friday October 20, 2023, at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington IL Rev. Mr. Gayle Cyrulik will be officiating. Burial will be at East Lawn Cemetery, Bloomington, IL. Visitation will be 11:00 AM-1:00 PM Friday October 20, 2023 at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington IL. The family suggests memorials be made to Illinois Farm Bureau or Alliance Grain. Marvin was born November 14, 1957, in Bloomington, IL, the son of Marvin Wayne and Betty D. Brucker Mosier Sr. He married Ann L. Peifer on February 28, 1981, at Holy Family Church, Lincoln, IL. She passed away September 15, 2017. Surviving 1 son Bradley Wayne Mosier, Normal IL, brother Dale Mosier, Chenoa, IL. Marvin is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sheila Bane. Marvin graduated from Saybrook-Arrowsmith Highschool and Joliet Junior College with a degree in Agriculture. Marvin was a lifetime Colfax area farmer. He was a member of the McLean County Farm Bureau and Alliance Grain. He was an agriculture mentor to area youth. "Marvin would help anyone anytime."
