Marlena “Marlene” Rose Gartshore, 69 of Taylorville passed away on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:05 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. She was born on February 18, 1948 in Taylorville, IL the daughter of George and Marcella (Durbin) Bresh. Marlene retired from diet workshop and Walmart. Surviving are her Daughters: Jeana Lynn (Steven) Lomprez of Taylorville, IL; Tina Marie (Brad) Chamness of Taylorville, IL; Grandchildren: April Barker, Jesse Barker, Alex Bunting, Ben Lomprez- Thompson, Alyssa Bunting; Sister: Georgianna (Jerry) Pagliai of Bulpit, IL; Several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Parents and her Sisters: Shirley Tarrant and Mary Bresh. Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 from 12:00-3:00 p.m. at Sutton Memorial Home in Taylorville. Graveside service starting at 3:30 p.m. at Oak Hill Cemetery with Pastor Eric and Rev. Jennifer Stilwell officiating. Burial will be held in Oak Hill Cemetery in Taylorville.
