Mark A. Kovack, 44, of Taylorville, IL died at 11:30 PM Sunday, February 6, 2005 at Memorial Medical Center, Springfield, IL. He was born March 6, 1960 in Taylorville, IL the son of Joseph and Kathleen Temmen Kovack. On July 1, 1983 he married Donna Podeschi in Taylorville, IL. Mr. Kovack was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville, IL and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #2120.

Surviving are his wife Donna Kovack of Taylorville, IL; 2 sons: Jeff Kovack with the U.S. Marines in California and Brad Kovack of Taylorville. Parents: Joe and Kathleen Kovack of Taylorville. Grandmother: Celestine Temmen of Oconee, IL. 4 Brothers: Michael Kovack and wife Nancy of Newburgh, IN, David Kovack and wife Donna of St. Louis, MO, James Kovack of Shilo, IL, Donald Kovack and wife Tiffany of Chatham, IL. 5 Sisters: Marianne Foulk and husband Kenny of Athens, IL, Dianne Volker and husband Kevin of Chatham, IL, Donna Mahan and husband Evan of Taylorville, IL, Joanne Volker and husband Kent of Chatham, IL and Sharon Langen and husband Dave of Tayorville, IL. He was preceded in death by a brother Dan Kovack in 2001

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Thursday, February 10, 2005 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Taylorville, IL with Father Alan Hunter officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Wednesday, February 9, 2005 in McClure Funeral Home, Taylorville, IL.
