Mark A. “Ziggy” Zogg, 68, of Odell, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024, at 11:10 a.m. at his residence in Odell. There will be a visitation on Saturday, June 8, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Following the visitation, there will be a gathering for friends and family at Lobo’s Tap in Odell starting at 1:30 p.m. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Ziggy was born on May 26, 1956, in Pontiac to Robert and Marjorie (Frantz) Zogg. Surviving are his sister, Mary (John) Damron of Royse City, TX; nephews, Clay (Candace) Damron and Chance (Lacey) Damron of TX; niece, Tammy (Jason) Hamilton of Pontiac; and several great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Joe Zogg; and sister, Margie Jensen. Ziggy was educated in Odell Grade school and graduated from Odell High School in 1974. He was employed with Hoffman Transportation for over 30 years, retiring in 2021. He was a member of Odell Sportsman Club, Knights of Columbus, and an avid fan of Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, Chicago Bears, and NASCAR. Memorials may be made to Odell Sportsman Club.
