Marjory L. Ogg Obituary (1919

Marjory Ogg, 101 of Dwight, IL, passed away at 9:10 a.m. Sunday, July 19, 2020, at Heritage Health in Dwight, IL. Funeral services are private for the family at Emmanuel Lutheran Church. Burial will follow the services at Oaklawn Cemetery. Marjory was born March 26, 1919, in Dwight, IL, the daughter of Edwin and Helen (Jensen) Kelch. She married J. Merlin Ogg on October 13, 1940 in Dwight, IL. He preceded her in death on August 23, 1994. She is survived by Kurt (Darlene) Ogg of Bourbonnais, IL; William Ogg of Dwight, IL; Carol (Donald) Sobotta of Alton, IL Pamela (Dale) Coughlin of Dwight, IL; grandchildren, Teresa Culver, Elizabeth Davis, Mellissa Nofer, Joe Coughlin, Kelly Olson, Michael Coughlin, Jessica Steichen, Stacey Richie, Scott Fieldman and Shan Fieldman; great grandchildren, 22; Great-Great-Grandchildren, 8. She was preceded in death by parents, husband J Merlin, two brothers, John and Robert Kelch, two sisters Verna Behrens and Anna Simpson. Born and raised in the Dwight Area she attended Dwight schools and graduated from Dwight Township High School. She worked as a mental health technician at the Fox Center in Dwight for many years. Marjory was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and past President of the Altar Guild and served within the church for many years in various other positions.
