Margaret Willson

Margaret “Margie” Willson, 84 of Pana passed away Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Pana Health & Rehab, Pana. She was born June 23, 1941, in Pana, IL to the late John & Evelyn (Hughes) Woolard. Margie married Roy “Ike” Willson on March 4, 1967, in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Pana and he survives.

Margie worked as a homemaker and enjoyed traveling to Arizona and the beach in North Carolina. The most important thing to her was her family, especially her grandchildren.

Along with her husband, Margie is survived by her children: Roger (Kelly) Willson of TN and Rebecca Epley of Pana; grandchildren: Aidan Willson, Alex Willson, Wade (Tiffany) Rochkes, Lucas (Haley) Willson, Lauren (Kasey) Ewing, and Taylor Rochkes;
great grandchildren; Anthony, Landon, Hudson, & Emersyn Rochkes, Austin, Nate, & Kye Ewing, and Raelynn & Emberly Willson. She was also preceded by her siblings: Johnny Woolard, Albert Woolard, Joe Woolard, Tommy Woolard, and Delores Phares; Special nieces & Nephew, Brad & Debbie Reid; and her best friend since third grade, Janet Chaney.

Funeral services for Margie will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2026, in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Leon Goff officiating. Burial will be in Mound Cemetery. The family will meet friends on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.

Memorials in memory of Margie may be made to the Pana Education Foundation and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
