Margaret R. Kraft Obituary (1941

Margaret R. Kraft, 76, of Bloomington, passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Monday, October 2, 2017 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington after a brief illness. Her funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 6, 2017 at Holy Trinity Church, Bloomington, where visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Monsignor Douglas Hennessy and Rev. Patrick ONeal concelebrating. Arrangements are being handled by Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Interment will immediately follow services at St. Marys Cemetery, Bloomington. She was born September 23, 1941 in Bloomington, daughter of Raymond C. and Dorothy Smith Callahan. She married Walter J. Kraft on August 25, 1962 in Bloomington, he preceded her in death on March 20, 2010. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Denise Marie Corbett. Surviving are her children, Walter R. (Katy) Kraft of Bloomington and Patricia (Jeff) Tucker of Davenport, IA and eight grandchildren, Michael Maggie Kraft, Jack Ray Tucker and Tessa, Kel, Bret and Kurt Corbett. Also surviving are one sister, Patricia (Neil) Kelley of Springfield. Margaret graduated Trinity High School in 1959 and attended Rosary College in River Forest. She worked at Epiphany Catholic Church for 19 years. Margaret was a proud recipient of the Pro Ecclescia et Pontifica Award on May 20, 1993. Margaret was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and was blessed to see them win the World Series.
