Loren D. McGrew Jr. Obituary (1927

Loren D. McGrew Jr., 92 of Bloomington passed away Saturday September 7, 2019 at 4:30 PM at McLean County Nursing Home in Normal. There will be a funeral Saturday September 14, 2019 at 1 PM at Beck Memorial Home in Bloomington. Brother Joe Blount from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Bloomington will officiate. There will be a visitation from 6-8 PM Friday and from 12-1 Saturday at the Memorial Home. Interment will be in Park Hill Cemetery in Bloomington. Memorial contributions may be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses where Loren was a member. Loren was born June 26, 1927 in Bloomington to Loren D. McGrew Sr and Hazel M. Daly McGrew. He married Mildred Wahls on May 12, 1951 in Bloomington. She survives. He is also survived by his five children Roberta (Mike) Kratky of Bloomington, Linda Sandusky of Bloomington, David (Debbie) McGrew of Melvin, Leon (Annette McCabe) McGrew of Creve Coeur, and Sheri (Michael) Effiong of Bloomington, twenty grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother. Loren worked for Caterpillar Tractor Company in East Peoria for thirty years in Material Handling.
