Lloyd W. Corry Obituary (1948

ARROWSMITH- Lloyd W. Corry, 75, of Arrowsmith, passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at OSF St, Joseph Medical Center Emergency Room. Cremation has been accorded and a private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be sent to his family. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Home in El Paso is assisting his family. Lloyd was born in Bloomington on August 26, 1948, a son to Fred and Alice Bryant Corry. He married Ann Devine in LeRoy on November 3, 1968. She survives. Also surviving are his children, Bill Corry, El Paso, Chris Corry, El Paso, Michelle (Brad) Fannin, Bell Buckle, Tenn.; grandchildren, Nikki, Justin, Rachel, Tyler, Caitlyn, Alivia, Connor, Liam; great-grandson, Cayden; sister, Juanita Song; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers; and 5 sisters. Lloyd served in the US Army during Vietnam. He graduated from Illinois State University. He worked for State Farm for over 40 years. He was a member of the LeRoy American Legion and the El Paso VFW. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid bowler.
