Linda Isaac

Linda L. Isaac 85, passed away at 4:15 a.m., Sunday, August 3, 2025, in Aspen Creek of Sullivan.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, August 7, 2025, in Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 12:00 Noon Thursday until service time at Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion. Linda was born November 15, 1939, in Long Creek Township, IL the daughter of Theodore and Kathryn (Butler) Tilton. She married Robert Isaac on July 11, 1987. He preceded her in death on June 16, 2020. Linda had retired from Caterpillar having last worked in Laborer Relations. She was a member of the Long Creek United Methodist Church. Linda loved baking especially known for her pies and cinnamon rolls. She enjoyed golfing, being with her friends and fishing, especially with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her daughters: Denise Williams-Gould (Kevin) of Dalton City and Kristy Soules (Michael) of Raliegh, NC; brother: James Tilton (Judy) of Carmel, IN; sisters: Sandra Muirhead (George) of Cerro Gordo, Judy Tilton of Long Creek, and Julie Magana (Javier) of Decatur; grandchildren: Amber (Todd), Jordan (Liz), Mason, and Kali (Kenny); great grandchildren: Monroe, Ollie, Millie, Aksel, and Evelynn.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers: Jerry and Richard, and her sister: Barbara.
