Linda Carol Brown

Linda Carol Brown, 75, of Normal, passed away Monday, August 28th. Named for her father, Linda was the eldest child of Leonard Carl and Elizabeth (Faughn) Misch. She was born June 13, 1948, in Bloomington IL.

The interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery, LeRoy, IL, with a Celebration of Life later.

She is survived by her sisters, Barbara (Robert) Lilienthal, Kathy (Chuck) West, and brothers, David (Tracy) Misch, and Jeffrey (Kathy) Misch; many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, and her Aunt, Theresa McClure of Normal. She was preceded in death by her parents and infant son, Warren M. Brown.

Linda worked for twenty years in food service at Illinois State University and for many years as a crossing-guard for Unit 5. She grew up in the Ellsworth-Holder area and was a member of LeRoy Christian Church.

She enjoyed shopping, baking, ISU Redbirds, and the St. Louis Cardinals. A perfect day for Linda was enjoying lunch and fellowship with her many lunch groups.

Linda never knew a stranger. She will be missed by her family and friends, but our memories of her will live on.
