Lillie LaVerne VanNote

Lillie LaVerne VanNote, 86 of Normal, passed away at 10:05 pm Sunday June 16, 2019 at Heritage Health, Normal.

Lillie was born December 23, 1932 in Leroy, Illinois, the daughter of Asa Mildred & Lola May (Leathers) Scott. She married Albert E. "Gene" VanNote, he preceded her in death in 2011.

She is survived by 1 son; Garin (Teresa) VanNote, 2 Daughters; Judy Brining & Linda Casey, 2 Grandsons; Drew (Krista) VanNote and Jared (Kodie) Johnson, 4 Granddaughters; Toni Lynn Karr, Kaitlin Pilchard, Kristie Johnson & Kathie Hudgeons, 10 Great Grandchildren; Eryn, Amber, Ashley, Zane, Alexis, Trevor, Jack, Hadleigh , Jordon and Harlow, 3 Great Great Grandchildren; Paislee, Bently , Colt and one on the way, and 2 sisters; Velma Jones & Ruby (Roy) Satterfeal.

Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers; Harlend Scott & David Scott, 1 sister; Lela Shilt, and 1 grandson; Charles Brining.

Her Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm Thursday June 20th at Calvert & Metzler Memorial Home, Bloomington. The Pastor Ed Herald will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 - 2:00. Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Samaritans Purse.
