Lila Anne Olsen

Lila Anne Olsen, 89, of Normal, passed away at 12:37 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Heritage Health in Normal.

Services will be private. Cremation rites have been accorded by Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church in Bloomington or Home Sweet Home Ministries in Bloomington.

She was born July 30, 1929 in Melrose Park, daughter of Clarence and Olga Kowaly Becker. She married Robert E. Olsen on June 10, 1950.

Surviving are her husband of Normal; one son, Gary (Jill) Olsen of Carol Stream; one daughter, Linda (Kurt) Florian of Wheaton and daughter-in-law, Diane Olsen of Bloomington. Also surviving are four grandchildren, Jessica Olsen, Amanda (Joe) Wiegand, Jennifer Florian and Kyle Florian and two great-grandchildren, Lucas & Jonah Wiegand.

She was preceded in death by one son, Jeffrey Olsen on April 29, 2017.

Lila loved reading and enjoyed cross stitching. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
