Laura A. Focci

PERU- Laura A. Focci, 93, of Toluca, passed away on October 11, 2025, at Manor Court in Peru.

A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, October 17, 2025, at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Toluca with Franciscan Friars officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 – 10:45 A.M. prior to mass at the church. Burial will be in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Toluca.

Laura was born in rural Marshall County near Hopewell in the farmhouse on May 21, 1932, a daughter to Edward R. and Nellie Edith (Antrim) Armbruster. She married John L. “Johnnie” Focci in Ottawa on October 20, 1950. He preceded her in death in 2004.
Surviving are her children, Dennis (Carlene) Focci, Peru, Pat (Bonnie) Focci, Toluca, Bonnie (Scott) Sefton, Fishers, IN; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; siblings, Ethel Prokaski, Varna, Patty (Gary) Sager, rural Varna, sister-in-law, Leah Armbruster, Orland Park, IL, Paul “John” Armbruster, Henry; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters, Veronica, Edna, and Mary; brother, Edward; and great-grandchild, Arlo Platt.

Laura was a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Toluca. She worked at the Toluca Garment Factory for 30 years.
