Larry R. Frantz Obituary (1954 - 2024)

Larry R. Frantz, 69, of Pontiac, formerly of Cullom, passed away on June 16, 2024, at 6:39 p.m. at OSF St. James Hospital in Pontiac. According to his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded with a celebration of life at a later date. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor funeral home is in charge of arrangements. Larry was born on August 19, 1954, in Pontiac to LeRoy E. and Esther (Spangler) Frantz. He married Teresa L. Eggenberger on April 14, 1984, in Cullom. She survives in Pontiac. Also surviving are sons, Adam J. (Johanna) Frantz of St. Louis, MO and, Robert E. Frantz of Graymont; grandchildren, Eitan Frantz and, Landon Frantz; brothers, Jim (Donnabelle) Frantz of Heyworth and, Ed Frantz of Cullom; sisters, Nancy (Dave) Flessner of Cullom, Donna (Paul) Burmeister of Fairbury, and Betsy Frantz of Cullom. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Bill Frantz. Larry was educated at Tri Point High School, graduating in 1972. He worked as a carpenter for Ed Dietz for many years, later with Steidinger Construction. He was a member of the NRA, loved camping, NASCAR, and crossword puzzles.
