Larry Nation

Larry Wayne Nation, 74, of Tower Hill passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2026 in his home. He was born December 29, 1951 in Springfield, IL, son of the late John A. & Iola Lorene (Sullivan) Nation. Larry and Sharon Kay Davis were united in marriage in the Baptist Church, Nokomis, IL and she survives.
Larry was a truck driver for McLeod Express and a farm hand for Hiler Farms. He enjoyed horseback riding, camping, hunting, traveling, motorcycle rides, boating and waterskiing.
In addition to his wife, Larry is survived by his sons: John (Yolanda) Nation, Assumption, IL; Jeffrey (Jacqueline) Nation, Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Delaney Nation, Assumption, IL; Josh (Mandy) Nation, Stonington, IL; great grandchildren: Larah Nation, Laya Nation, Mavis Nation & Ranson Nation and siblings: Debbie Holland, Witt, IL; Russell (Sally) Nation, Hillsboro, IL; Barb Nation, Borger, TX and Clinton (Melissa) Nation, Hillsboro, IL.
Funeral services for Larry will be held on Friday, March 20, 2026 in the Pana Christian Church at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Ohlman Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, March 19, 2026 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Pana Christian Church.
Memorials in Larry’s honor may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
