Kim Steven Poshard Obituary (2024)

LEXINGTON- Kim Steven Poshard, 77, of Lexington, passed away on January 14, 2024, at Carle Bromenn Medical Center in Normal. His funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, January 22,2024, at Calvert-Johnson & Musselman Memorial Home in Lexington with Rev. Tom CiCi officiating. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Interment will be in Lexington Township Cemetery with military honors presented. Memorials be given to a charity of the donor’s choice. Calvert-Johnson & Musselman Memorial Home in Lexington is in charge of arrangements. Kim was born in Bloomington on September 25, 1946, a son to Donald and Veryl Garrett Poshard. Surviving are his sister, Laurel Poshard, Bloomington; nieces, Logan (Jason) Beckman, Bridget Pleines; and great nephews and niece; Tyce and Landon Beckman, and Marley Pleines. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, D.S. Poshard Jr. Kim served in the United States Navy from 1966-1970. He retired from Ollie Meyers Fertilizer Co. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, and he enjoyed NASCAR. He most enjoyed spending time with his family for get togethers, holidays, and birthdays.
