Kenneth L. "Ken" French Obituary (1940

Kenneth “Ken” L. French, 83, of Pontiac, formerly of Green Bay, WI, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 2:17 p.m. at OSF St. James John W. Albrecht Medical Center in Pontiac. His graveside services will be on February 16, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Gretchen Stinebaugh officiating. A visitation will be held on Friday February 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at the Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements. Ken was born May 12, 1940, in Gridley, IL to George K. and Edna L. (Cagley) French. He is survived by his children, Kimberly (Allen) Cooper of Barnhart, MO and James Darin Switzer of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Brandon Hoffman of Barnhart, MO and Bessie Conner-Switzer of Cleveland, TN; daughter-in-law, Bessie Conner of Chattanooga, TN; nieces, Cheryl (James) Hertz of Odell, Laura (Chris) Bell of Pontiac; several great nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. And sister, Marilyn L. Nelson Ken was employed as a welder in Green Bay, WI, and Pontiac.
