Kenneth W. Dawson Obituary (1962 - 2022)

Kenneth W. Dawson of Pontiac, formerly of Fairbury, passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at St James Medical Center in Pontiac. Cremation rites will be accorded and a private family graveside service will be held at South Side Cemetery, Pontiac, IL. Memorials in Kenny's name may be made to a charity of the donor's choice. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac is handling the arrangements. Kenny was born June 10, 1962, in Fairbury, IL, the son of Donald G. and Lois McClellan Dawson. He married Julie Bradley on May 23, 1998, in Pontiac. She survives in Pontiac. Other survivors include his daughter Danielle (Sierra Hawks) Kamis, Denver, CO, 2 grandchildren Ava and Ailey Kamis, Denver, CO, his brother Don (Connie) Dawson of Morton, IL and a sister Deanna (George) Dawson Soulis of Denver, CO. His mother-in-law and father-in-law Arnold and Phyllis Bradley and sisters-in-law, Cheryl Bammann and Beth Shelton, Pontiac and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Richard Dawson and sister Katherine Dawson. Kenny was a long time machinist and employed at Mechanical Devices in Bloomington and Caterpillar in Pontiac, IL.
