Kazimierz 'Kasey' Gondek Obituary (1930

VARNA- Kazimierz 'Kasey' Gondek, 89, formerly of Lake Wildwood, passed away at 3:18 PM on Sunday March 3, 2019 at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 AM on Friday March 8, 2019 at St. Ann's Catholic Church with Franciscan Friars officiating. Visitation will be from 4-6 PM on Thursday March 7, 2019 at Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Homes in Toluca with a rosary to be recited at 3:30 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Wenona. Memorials may be given to St. Ann's Catholic Church, Toluca. Calvert-Johnson & Froelich Memorial Homes in Toluca is in charge of arrangements. Kazimierz was born in Krakow, Poland on January 21, 1930, a son to Ludwig and Maria Musial Gondek. Surviving are his significant other Donna Robinson, Princeton; children, Eva (Kazimierz) Tynor, Halina (Christphor) Lappe, of Krakow, Poland; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son, Andrzej Gondek, 2 brothers; and 1 sister. Kazimierz was a costume maker in the theater in Poland for 40 years. He worked at the Toluca Garment Factory for 17 years. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church in Toluca and a member of the Polish National Alliance.
