Kathy E. "Jo Jo" Hubbard Obituary (1955

Kathy E. (Jojo) Hubbard of Kenney, IL went home to Jesus on Monday, November 7, 2022, at the age of 67. She was born to Tracy Elwood Harman and Ruby Lucille Tate on July 6, 1955, in Beckley, WV. Jojo was married to Richard Lee Powell on July 27, 1987. She had two children: Scott Hubbard, and Tracy Barth. She had four beloved grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. She is survived by her children and grandchildren. She is also survived by her dear friend, Linda Marsh of Kenney, IL, whom she called "mom". Jojo fought a brave battle against Parkinson's disease for sixteen years. Throughout the years of increasing disability, she never complained, never fell into self-pity, never lost her faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She maintained a wonderful sense of humor and was quick with a smile and laughter. Jojo was a member of Texas Christian Church in Clinton, IL. A celebration of life will be held at the church on Saturday, November 19 at 11:00 a.m. The family entrusted Calvert Funeral Home, Clinton, IL with cremation rites.
