Kathleen Marie "Cathie" Woodward, 45, of Normal, died at 3:08 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014 at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.In honor of Cathies wishes, there will be no services or visitation. Cremation rites have been accorded by Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Humane Society of Central Illinois in Normal. To express condolences online, please visit www.carmodyflynn.com.She was born July 17, 1968 in Bloomington, daughter of Rex R. and Judith Ann Mogol Woodward.Surviving are her parents, Rex and Judy of Normal; one sister, Cyndi (Dave) Newmister of Normal; one brother, David (Jennifer) Woodward of Bloomington. Also surviving are her nieces and nephews, Emily, Abby and Molly Newmister and Madeline and Andrew Woodward.Cathie worked as a Catastrophe Claim Representative for State Farm Insurance Company. Through her work she traveled all of the country and touched many peoples lives and hearts along the way. She will always be remembered for contagious laughter, her kindness, her care with helping people and her big heart; she never met a stranger.She was an avid Nebraska Husker Football Fan and she loved dogs. Cathie cherished her nieces and nephews and was especially proud of the bond she shared with her "birthday twin," Emily.The family would like to extend a special, heartfelt thank you to the caring staff at Advocate BroMenn Medical Center for their kindness to Cathie and support to the family.
