Judith Keeling

Judith K. “Judy” Keeling, 69, of Pana passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026 in Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born April 13, 1956 in Shelbyville to the late Wilbur & Kathryn (Connelly) Stockdale. Judy and Danny Keeling were married on November 2, 1975 in Findlay, IL. He preceded her in death on December 21, 2007.
Judy worked as a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her daughters: Bridgett (Chet) Poppenhouse, Assumption, IL and Jennifer (Bradly) Heimsness, Taylorville, IL; grandchildren: Jordan (Allison), Katelyn (Maddy), Blake (Breanne), Larissa, Tyler (Lexus), Kamren, Delainy, Kyleigh, Hunter, Kenzley & Bentley; great grandchildren: Marion, Lucas, Jaytee, Jackson, Tae, Dontae, Adalyn, JT, Paisley, Madden & Shawn’Tae and her cat, Coco. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Patty Stockdale, Esther Mills, Brenda Stockdale, John Stockdale, Sr., Donald Stockdale, Nancy Winings, Wilbur Stockdale, Jr.
Funeral services for Judy will be held on Friday, February 20, 2026 in the First Church of the Nazarene, Pana at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Leon Goff officiating. Burial will be in Twin Pines Cemetery, Pana. Visitation will be held Friday from 10:00 a.m. until service time the church.
Memorials in Judy’s honor may be made to the family and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
