Judith Blackerby

Judith Ann “Judi” Blackerby, 85, of Pana passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 in St. John’s Hospital, Springfield. She was born January 4, 1941 in Bensenville, IL, daughter of the late John “Ted” & Mamye (Shipley) Miskell.
Judi worked at Pana Red Fox, GPI, various gas stations & Hobby Lobby. She enjoyed gardening, drawing, painting, quilting and anything crafty. She also loved going to garage sales and spending time with her grandchildren.
Judi is survived by her children: Keith “Woody” Ralston (significant other, Leigh Ann Carlock), Pana, IL; Mark Ralston, Nokomis, IL; Wendy Jansen, Shelbyville, IL; Beth (Brett) Henschen, Pana, IL and Randy Dulceak, Nokomis, IL; grandchildren: Nick (Megan) Law, Brice (Natasha) Blackerby, Jessica Ralston, Heather (Mike) Carter, Michael Ralston, Kristen Looman, Amanda (Adam) Matthews, Jeremy (Heather) Allen, Laura Allen, Reese (Amber) Henschen, Kendal (Desiree) Henschen, Connor (Lucy) Henschen; 26 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Ruth Dulceak, James Miskell and Owen Miskell.
Per Judi’s wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and a family led celebration of life was held on Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 12:30-2:30 p.m. in Kitchell Park, Pana.
Memorials in Judi’s honor may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation or Carnegie-Schuyler Library, Pana and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
