Juanita "Joni" McStoots, 84, of Dwight, IL passed away, Friday October 22 , 2021 at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee, IL. Graveside services will be held at 11am, Friday on October 29, 2021 at Round Grove Cemetery. Memorials in Juanita's name may be made to the family. Juanita was born on November 13, 1936 in Pontiac, IL a daughter of Phillip and Fern (Gerrish) Ricolo. She married Vernon Gassman and Paul McStoots both preceded her in death. She is survived by her children: Debbie (David) Marxmiller of Urbana, IL, Douglas Gassman of Odell, IL; grandchildren, Lindsey (Jake) Buchanan, Cody (Brianna) Marxmiller, Doug (Shay) Gassman Jr.; great grandchildren, Maddix and Easton Buchanan, Skiy, Kali, KD, Rhyder Marxmiller, Keegan and Kellen Gassman. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, George Ricolo and sister, Norma Nelson. She attended the First Congregational Church of Christ. She enjoyed embroidery, bowling and spending time watching her grandchildren's extracurricular activities.
