Jon H. Burns

Jon H. Burns, 40, of Taylorville, IL died at 8:02 am Sunday, June 29, 2003 in Rosamond Township, Christian County, IL. He was born March 27, 1963 in Taylorville, IL the son of Ivan E. and Mary Elaine Vance Burns. On October 16, 1982 he married Deborah White in Taylorville, IL.

Mr. Burns was a Deputy for the Christian County Sheriff's Office and a member of the First United Methodist Church in Taylorville.

Surviving are his daughter, Jennifer Burns and son Jeremy Burns both of Taylorville, IL. Father Ivan E. Burns of Taylorville, sister, Cindy Miller and husband David of Holladay, TN and 3 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his Mother.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am Wednesday, July 2, 2003 in McClure Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 1 in the funeral home. Graveside rites will be conducted by the Christian County Sheriff's Office Honor Guard.
