John H. Unger

John H. Unger, 65, of Pontiac, passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at 3:25 p.m. at ASTA Care Center of Colfax.

Cremation rites will be accorded.

Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home, Pontiac, is in charge of arrangements.

John was born March 18, 1949 in Meadville, PA, son of William and Martha (Guenther) Unger. He married Todd C. Sumpter on June 14, 2014. He survives in Pontiac.

Also surviving are his brother, Bill (Carolyn) Unger of Meadville, PA and sister, Mary (Bill) Wiley of Meadville, PA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

John graduated from Meadville High School and attended Penn State. He served in the U. S. Army. John was retired from Mitsubishi Motors Corporation where he was in quality control after almost 20 years.

Memorials may be made to the Livingston County Humane Society or the Parkinson's Disease Foundation.
