John A. Klein

John A. Klein, 67, of Henry passed away at 1:45 a.m. on Friday, December 24, 2021, at Lacon Rehabilitation & Healthcare.
John was born on January 27, 1954, in Peoria, IL to Merle F. and Mary (Ahlstrom) Klein. John served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a proud member of the Henry American Legion Post #323. He married Lori Jay on December 31, 1978, in Hennepin, IL. She survives. Also surviving are his mother Mary Klein of Rome, IL; Monica (Drew) Sibbing of San Antonio, TX; Joshua (Ashley) Klein of Chillicothe, and Sarah (Scott) Miller of Henry, 9 Grandchildren; sister Cheryl Wiessner of Mesa, AZ; brother Scott (Kristie) Klein of Speer, IL; one nephew and four nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law Barry Wiessner.
John was a reaffirmed Catholic. He was employed by the B.F. Goodrich chemical plant for 25 years.
The family will announce a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
John's wishes for cremation are being arranged by Calvert & Johnson Memorial Home, Henry.
