John Deeters Jr.

John R. Deeters Jr., 49, of Bellflower, IL, passed away at home Tuesday, August 26, 2025.

Cremation rites have been accorded. There will be no services. Calvert-Belangee-Bruce Funeral Home of Farmer City, IL, is assisting the family with arrangements.

John was born to John R. and Hattie Louise (Whitehouse) Deeters Sr. on November 5, 1975, in Clinton, IL.

He is survived by his wife, Casey Thomas; father, John R. (Suzie) Deeters Sr.; children, Cody (Alicia Janney) Burke, Jaelynn Deeters, Caldin Thomas, and John Caysin Deeters; and grandchildren, Aniyah and Everly.

He was preceded in death by his mother and maternal and paternal grandparents.

John was a Christian and member of the Ranch House Cowboy Church, DeLand, IL. He worked for Kopp Farms for around 15 years. He loved to fish, ride his four-wheeler, and was an amazing mechanic able to fix anything. Most of all, John was a family man. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, and devoted friend who will be deeply missed.
