John H. Bratton 73, of Decatur, IL passed away at 11:20 a.m., Thursday, May 7, 2020, in his residence.

A private family graveside service will take place in Macon County Memorial Park Cemetery, Harristown, IL. Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Johnny was born December 9, 1946, in Decatur, IL the son of Iona (Wilkey) Bratton. John had formerly worked as a kitchen helper in a retirement home. Johnny enjoyed visiting with people and walking in the Decatur area. He married Dorothy Campbell. She preceded him in death on April 18, 2020.

Surviving are his sisters: Carolyn Ann Lippay (Thomas) of Philadelphia, PA and Linda Sue "Susie" Bratton of Cerro Gordo, IL; sister-in-law: Jean Bratton of Cerro Gordo, IL; many nieces and a nephew also survive.

Johnny was preceded in death by his mother, wife, sister: Patty and Brother: Jack Robert "Rob" Bratton.
