Johanne Maude Loar Obituary (1939

Johanne Maude Loar of Pana, formerly of Alsip, IL, passed away quietly in her home on Friday, August 12, 2011. She was born November 17, 1939, the daughter of Frederick Louise Millward of Rockford, IL. Johanne was a member of the Methodist Church in Tower Hill, IL. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with family. Johanne had worked as a seamstress and printer while living in Alsip, IL, and she owned and operated JML Cleaning for many years. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and loved her. Johanne is survived by her sons: Daniel Loar, Pana, IL Thomas (Sherry) Loar, Pana, IL; granddaughter: Nicole (Joey) Santar, Frankfort, IL; great grandson: Austin Riley Santar, Frankfort, IL; many nieces & nephews; brother: Fredrick (Rosetta) Millward, Tampa, FL; and 2 sisters: Judith (Tom) Clisham, Rockford, IL and Sarah Bordon, Osawatomie, MO. She was preceded in death by her father and sister, Ellen Boylan, formerly of Portage, IN. Funeral Information A memorial is being planned to celebrate her life on Saturday, September 24, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at her home, RR#3 Box 289A, Pana, IL 62557. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
