Jill Diane Amm, 55 of Pontiac passed away on Wednesday March 13, 2024, at 12:16 p.m. at Goldwater Care in Pontiac. Her services will be on Tuesday March 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. from the First Presbyterian Church in Pontiac. Pastor Lucia Oerter will be officiating. There will be a private family burial at Southside Cemetery at a later date. Visitation will be at the First Presbyterian Church on Monday March 18, 2024, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac Jill was born on June 11, 1968, in Pontiac to Marvin and Carol (Peterson) Wunderlin. She married Brian Amm April 27,1991 in Pontiac. He survives in Pontiac. Also surviving; daughters, Brittany (Jesse) Haarmann of Rochester, MN, Courtney Amm of New York, NY; son, Payton Amm of Pontiac; brother, Jeff (Bev) Wunderlin of Lincoln; sisters, Joanne Sancken of Pontiac, Jane (Bob) Kaisner of Lexington, Janet Jones of Pontiac; grandchild, Lillian Haarmann; 28 nieces and nephews, 31 great nieces and nephews and 1 great-great nephew. Preceded in death by her parents, brothers-in-law, John Sancken, Paul Jones. Jill graduated from St. Mary’s grade school, Pontiac Township High School in 1986, attended Kankakee Community College where she received an associate degree in accounting. She was employed with District 429 as a bookkeeper for over 35 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Pontiac. She loved spending time with her family and friends and loved cooking and baking. Memorials may be made to the family to go towards a charity of their choice.
