Jerrod Kiley

Jerrod Michael Kiley, 41, of Bloomington, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Bloomington, IL.

His funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bloomington. Visitation will be held from 4:00–7:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2026, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bloomington. Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington is assisting the family.

Memorials may be made to Central Catholic High School – Jerrod Kiley Memorial. A portion will help support the fishing team he always wished existed when he was there.

Jerrod was born on April 29, 1985, the son of Michael and Susan (Rohrer) Kiley.

He is survived by his parents of Bloomington; two sisters, Stacy (Jess) Durako of Bloomington and Amy (Wyatt) Dowling of Northbrook; seven nieces and nephews, Lauren (16), George (14), Kat (11), twins Millie (3) and Frankie (3) Durako, and Dylan (8) and Blake (4) Dowling; grandparents, Jerry and Barbara Rohrer of Bloomington and Rita Scanlon of Bloomington; and many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jerry Kiley, and his step-grandfather, Leland Scanlon.

Jerrod graduated from Central Catholic High School and went on to earn his degree from Eastern Illinois University in 2008.

He had a deep love for fishing and could often be found enjoying time outdoors. He was a devoted and fun-loving uncle who cherished time with his nieces and nephews. Jerrod was an avid Cubs fan and had a lifelong appreciation for music.

Jerrod will be remembered for his kind heart and his love for his family. He was a beloved son, grandson, brother, and uncle who will be deeply missed.
