Jennie Jen Royer Obituary (1913

Jennie "Jen" Royer, 92, of Taylorville, IL died at 1:10 pm Thursday, January 20, 2005, at St. Vincent Memorial Hospital, Taylorville, IL. She was born January 8, 1913 in Assumption, IL the daughter of Daniel C. and Lyda Simons Ryan. On Juyly 3, 1954 she married Carl Royer in Assumption, and he preceded in death on September 4, 1996. Mrs. Royer was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Taylorville and had formerly taught grade school in Pana. Surviving are her nephews: Leonard Ryan of Springfield, IL; Michael J. "Mick" Ryan and wife Nancy; Rodger D. "Butch" Ryan and wife Cindy and Terry E. Ryan and wife Lois all of Taylorville, IL; Larry Curry of Peoria, IL. Nieces: JoAnn Stevenson and husband Gary of Peoria, IL and Patricia Wetnight and husband Bob of Winter Park, FL. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 Brothers and 4 Sisters. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, January 26, 2005 in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Taylorville. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until time of service. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Taylorville, IL.
