Jean Thompson-Frank Obituary (1953

Jean Nannette Thompson-Frank of Hopedale, passed away on January 13, 2021 at Carle Bromenn as a result of COVID and Pneumonia. Her children were by her side when she drifted off to be with the Lord. She was born to Donald and Betty Thompson of Bloomington, Illinois on January 29, 1953. Jean is survived by her three children Cory (Beth) Winstead of Morton, Ashley Hodges of Hopedale and Eric Hodges (Katie) of Pontiac. Two step- children Tiffany and Jason Hodges of Normal. Her brothers Gary (Brenda) Thompson of Bloomington, Mark (Mary) Thompson of Bloomington, Jim (Cheryl) Thompson of Allerton,Iowa, and one sister Cindy Nafziger of Stanford. Her grandchildren Callie, Abigail, Regan, Kylie and Tyler and she had four step-grandchildren Dustin, Jason Jr., Jaylynn, Gavin and a Great granddaughter Armani. She also had many nieces and nephews. She adored her two dogs Cinnamon and Maxwell. She loved to bake, she had many cook books and recipes that she was always trying. She enjoyed cookouts with family and friends. Cross word and fill-ins was something that she would do for hours. Jean loved the small town living. She would sit on the porch for hours playing on her phone and ipad. She was easy to talk to and always listened and never judged. Her laugh and smile will truly be missed. Jean preceded in death by her parents. A celebration of life will be at a later date. Donations can be made in Jeans memory to American Diabetes Association or the Carle Bromenn Cancer Center.
