Jean Nicolas

Jean Nicolas, 66, of Pana passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 peacefully in her home with her family by her side. She was born March 11, 1960 in Pana, IL to the late Cyril L. & Verla M. (Smith) Voudrie. Jean and Randy Nicolas were married on November 14, 1981 and they had a loving marriage for 45 years.
Jean was an active member of the Pana Senior Center, where she was the president and site supervisor of the Golden Circle Nutrition Program. She was a fun-loving mother to two daughters, Ashley & Erin, as well as a loving wife and grandmother. She enjoyed spoiling her family, especially her grandbabies.
Jean is survived by her husband, Randy Nicolas, Pana, IL; children: Ashley (Nathan) Luzader & Erin (John) Hapner; grandchildren: Eloise, Charlotte, Liam Luzader & Edward Hapner and brother, Jim Voudrie, Pana, IL. She was also preceded in death by her brothers: Wayne, Allen & Terry Voudrie.
Funeral services for Jean will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026 in McCracken-Dean Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave Altman officiating. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Pana. Visitation will be Friday from 1:00 p.m. until service time in the funeral home.
Memorials in Jeanie’s honor may be made to the Pana Senior Center and will be accepted by McCracken-Dean Funeral Home who is assisting the family.
