Jayne Hintzman

Jayne Hintzman, 60, of Bloomington, passed away at 4:36 a.m. Sunday, January 27, 2019 at her home.

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington, is assisting the family with cremation arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Illinois Cancer Care or to the American Cancer Society.

She was born January 22, 1959 in Lincoln, a daughter of William and Louise Eimer Hardin. She married Peter J. Hintzman in 1981 and he survives in Bloomington.

Also surviving are two children, Ryan Hintzman and Brianna (Robert) Pratt, both of Bloomington; two grandchildren; and three brothers, Dan (Deb) Hardin of Lincoln, Tom Hardin of Springfield and Phil (Michelle) Hardin of Aurora.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mike Hardin.

Jayne was a graduate of the respiratory therapy program at Parkland College and retired from OSF HealthCare St. Joseph Medical Center after a 40-year career. She will be most remembered for her strength, her compassion and an incredible sense of humor. A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Jayne found her greatest joy in life in the time she spent with her family.
