Janice Parrott

Janice F. Parrott 84 of Decatur, IL passed away at 6:43 p.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2026, in Decatur Memorial Hospital, Decatur, IL.

In keeping with Janice’s wishes, she will be cremated with no formal services. Calvert & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mt. Zion is assisting the family with arrangements. Janice was born January 24, 1942, in Decatur, IL the daughter of Harold and Muriel Blankenship. She married Bill Parrott on August 24, 1957. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2025. Janice had formerly worked as a receptionist for Dr. William Fiesler Dental Practice. She enjoyed boating, motorcycling and dancing.

Surviving is her daughter Tammy Williams (Steve) of Decatur; sister Dee Allen of Harlingen, TX and Sharon Zimmerman (Parker) of Arizona; grandson: Dylan Mense (Madison) of Blue Mound, IL; great-grandchildren Adilyn Mense and Mac Mense; niece: Kim Zimmerman of Arizona; nephew: Kevin Zimmerman of Washington, IL.

Janice was preceded in death by her husband, parents, one brother and two sisters.
