James Edward Rapp

BLOOMINGTON - James Edward Rapp, 53, Bloomington, died at 7:26 p.m. Monday (Feb. 25, 2008) at his residence.

His funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Duffy Funeral Home, Pontiac, with the Rev. Gretchen Stinebaugh officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Apostolic Christian Cemetery, Fairbury.

James was born Nov. 19, 1954, in Fairbury, the son of Edward H. and Ethel E. Weakman Rapp. He married Mischele Kuhn Daniels on April 10, 1984. She survives in Bloomington.

Also surviving are a daughter, Lynze (Kyle) Myers, Indianapolis, Ind.; three sisters, Ronda Morse Pontiac; Janet (Gerald) Potter, Buckley; and Marilyn Montgomery, Lincoln; and grandchild, Taylor Myers, Indianapolis, Ind.

He was preceded in death by his parents, paternal and maternal grandparents.

He was a graduate of Pontiac High School and Midstate Junior College. He was a support center representative for State Farm Insurance for 34 years.
