There are no prestigious medals, awards, outstanding acts of heroism or significant offices of valor held by Jim Currence in his lifetime, but Jim was always there with a laugh (not just a smile ) , or helping someone in need - just because. Many young school children, attending North Elementary School remember Jim well for his frequent visits with his "big, yellow dog, Princess". He will surely be missed by friends, grandson, Matt and very special friend, Rachel and, of course Princess.
