Jacob R. Starks

Jacob R. Starks, 23, of Pontiac, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015 in Pontiac, IL.

His service will be held Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Graymont in Graymont, IL. Pastor Patrick Embley will officiate. After his services, cremation rites will be accorded.

Visitation will be Monday, January 19, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Duffy-Baier-Snedecor Funeral Home in Pontiac, IL.

Jacob was born October 2, 1991 in Pontiac, IL. He is survived by his parents, Sarah Brown (Manuel) Zepeda of Pontiac, IL and Peter Starks of Graymont, IL.

Also surviving are his maternal grandparents, David and Hallie Brown of Pontiac, IL; step-grandmother, Nelda Zepeda of Chicago, IL; aunts, uncles, and cousins, Tom and Jennifer (Brown) Moeller of Clarendon Hills, IL and their children, Lauren, Addison, and Maggie; Mark and Laura (Brown) Vogel of Pontiac, IL and their children, Clare Ellen, Bobbie Marie, and Jack David, who was Jacob's Godson; Ron and Kathy Starks of Graymont, IL; Beth (Kevin) Kuerth of rural Pontiac, IL; Sara (Matt) Jacobs of rural Pontiac, IL; Kate Palmo of Albuquerque, NM and her children Kelly, Gale, and Robert; Step-Aunts and Uncles, Berta Moreno of Cicero, IL; Elda (Frank) Radogno of Berwyn, IL; Kurt (Maria) Sander of Berwyn, IL; Andrew (Raquel) Gonzalez of Lockport, IL; Marcelo (Sherry) Zepeda of Chicago, IL; and Irma Zepeda of Chicago, IL.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Billy and Florence Starks.

Jacob was a graduate of Pontiac Township High School Class of 2010 and he attended Parkland College in Champaign, IL. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Graymont in Graymont, IL.

Jacob loved and was loved by so many. His love of family, friends, and music, his laughter and smile will be greatly missed. He is now and always will be the one true love of his mother's life.
